Easy Au Gratin Potatoes
- 2 pound bag of frozen Hash Browns
- 1-1/2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 3/4 tsp. garlic salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 4 cups Special K or Corn Flakes cereal
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Put frozen potatoes in a 9" x 13" pan. Melt the margarine and put 1/2 on the potatoes.
Add next ingredients in order listed above. Spread Sour Cream on top.
Mix Cereal with remaining margarine and spread over the top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/4 hours.
NOTE: Mix Soup in a bowl with a small amount of water to make spreading easier.
