Irene's Meatloaf
- 1 pounds Ground Beef
- 1/3 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1/3 cup Milk, heated
- 2 Tablespoons Onion, minced or flakes
- 1 Beef Bouillon Cube, dissolved in 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 cup Ketchup
Soften Bread Crumbs in Milk in a large bowl.
Add Ground Beef, Onion, Salt, Pepper and Egg. Mix thoroughly.
Form into loaf and place in a 9"x9" pan or baking dish. Spread Oil over top of loaf, and then pour Ketchup on top.
Pour Bouillon around base of loaf. Bake 1-1/2 - 2 hours at 350 degrees, basting with Bouillon occasionally.
