Irene's Meatloaf

  • 1 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1/3 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Milk, heated
  • 2 Tablespoons Onion, minced or flakes
  • 1 Beef Bouillon Cube, dissolved in 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup

Soften Bread Crumbs in Milk in a large bowl.

Add Ground Beef, Onion, Salt, Pepper and Egg. Mix thoroughly.

Form into loaf and place in a 9"x9" pan or baking dish. Spread Oil over top of loaf, and then pour Ketchup on top.

Pour Bouillon around base of loaf. Bake 1-1/2 - 2 hours at 350 degrees, basting with Bouillon occasionally.
