Bob Dylan's Mom's Favorite Fudge Bars

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter or Margarine
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 package (6 ounces) chocolate chips
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • Powered sugar (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a saucepan, warm butter and chocolate squares together until just melted. Add sugar and eggs. Mix well.

Stir in flour and salt. Fold in chocolate chips and marshmallows. Spread into a well-buttered 8-inch square baking pan.

Bake for 25 minutes. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powered sugar if desired.

Serve, like a rolling stone.
