Caramel Chex

  • 6 cups Rice or Corn Chex
  • 3/4 cup Margarine
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar

Measure Chex into a large bowl. Melt Margarine and Brown Sugar in a small pan; bring to a boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour mixture all at once over Chex, and stir well until evenly coated.

Spread coated Chex evenly on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for five minutes.

Remove from oven and cool Chex on the cookie sheet, stirring every 30 minutes or so for 1-1/2 hours.

Store in an airtight container. Try not to eat it all yourself before serving!
